Job Description
To support all soldering reworks in SMT.
a. Examines PCB's under magnifying lamp or microscope and reads inspection tags to locate defects, such as insufficient solder, missing components, defective components and parts.
b. Solders & resolders missed or defective connections, joints, wiring, & terminals found to be defective or missing after original soldering process.
c. Removes excess solder from connections & clears solder from component holes, using desoldering equipment.
d. Repositions misaligned components, such as resistors, capacitors & integrated circuits, & removes & replaces damaged or missing components.
Skills Needed:
Soldering skills, SMT knowledge, use of microscope and magnifying lamp.
At least 2 year of experience in soldering both SMD and PTH components.
Requirements * Minimum education level: Vocational
Years of experience: 1
Availability for travel: No
