Overall Purpose
Lease Accountant to support the end-to-end Lease Accounting, period-end close and reporting activities of client's reporting entity .
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Preparation of US GAAP, IFRS and local statutory reports
2) Technical assessment and business support of lease and reporting
3) Analyze data per lease amortization schedules (real estate and equipment leases) and prepare journal vouchers (including accruals) for month end close.
4) Upkeep/update of lease amortization schedules according to latest payment schedule from lessors.
5) Responsible for monthly rent reconciliations, including lessors invoice billing/statement review, coding and reconciliation to lease agreements.
6) Reconciliation of Rent/Interest/CAM Expense TB account to lease amortization schedules.
7) Assist in preparation of SEC Reporting, audit schedules and SOX documentations.
8) Prepare monthly accrual journal entries (open PO/URR etc.) for RSO books.
9) Assist in monthly actual reporting for RSO books.
10) Generate data check for quarterly SOD controls.
11) Participate in global/regional projects (work flow improvement projects/system enhancement/integrations) as assigned.
12) Perform ad-hoc analyses and reporting as assigned.
Qualifications
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Requires a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy with 4-5 years of relevant work experience.
2) Looking for a highly motivated and competent individual with good inter-personal and communication skills. Someone who is positive and a good team player.
3) Possess good problem-solving abilities, with lots of initiative and drive, a strong sense of internal control and a keen eye for details and process improvements.
4) High level of proficiency in Excel is a MUST
5) Oracle FA/Lease Module, US GAAP, IFRS. local statutory report for Leases, project implementation experiences are strong pluses.
6) Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
