Are you a subject matter expertise using Six Sigma methodology in project management, scope definition, risk identification, methodology and resource allocation or facilitation? Assist us with strategic initiatives crossing business teams and operating groups as a Project Six Sigma Consultant to coordinate and complete projects, define performance and results and manage vendors and service providers. You'll investigate non-standard requests and problems, makes presentations to senior leadership, ensure project documentation is accurate and ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. Pertinent data and facts will be reviewed to identify and solve issues and mitigate risks, prioritize your work load and work on ad hoc projects as assigned. Six Sigma Certification or in process of Certification for Project Management required and previous experience in a Project Management Office (PMO) is a plus.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership around initiatives focused on the sustained improvement of customer business processes and value
Drive the creation of breakthrough insights into business processes which unify and align strategy resulting in enhanced shareholder value
Define the quality agenda for the business in alignment to Customer strategic objectives and priorities
Drive and implement tools, processes and policies designed to focus on business process improvement to maximize the capabilities and to enhance business value and ROI
Facilitate and drive Six Sigma quality culture in the organization
Serve as a Lean coach to business leaders, helping to drive enterprise wide sustained improvements via strategy deployment and alignment to continuous improvement plans
Lead a team of Lean Six Sigma Black Belts that provide Lean Six Sigma coaching, mentoring and training leadership around initiatives focused on the sustained improvement of business processes
Coach/consult executive management and guide Champions with project selection and scope, assuring linkage between projects and business and partner priorities
Guide Champions with project selection and scope, assuring linkage between projects and business and partner priorities
Mentor and coach Champions, Black Belts and Green Belts in the use of Six Sigma tools and methodology to ensure timely completion of projects with expected results
Collaborate well with customer quality and operations team
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
Six Sigma certification
BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and/or equivalent education and experience
10-12 years of overall experience with 5-7 years of experience in a Lean Six Sigma quality role with operations strategy/line management roles in financial institutions, consulting or technology companies or program/change management roles in other industries
4+ years of project management administration and/or project management experience to include tracking/reporting responsibilities for a large portfolio of projects
2+ years of experience in tracking, planning projects, working with large data sets and making data-driven analytical decisions
Extensive experience of applying lean six sigma methodologies to drive process improvements
Experience in working with CXO level stakeholders drive large transformation programs and reengineering engagements
Relevant experience in effectively leading and mentoring Black Belt Projects, Organization wide BPMS, Lean deployment
Strong experience in deploying Lean/Six Sigma in one or more of the following industry areas as well as subject matter expertise in one of the core business processes:
-Contact Center Operations
-Understanding and experience of managing operational risks and controls
-Understanding of and exposure to project management disciplines and techniques
Mastery of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies including DMAIC
Moderate to advance MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely and to ability to facilitate meetings
Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
Strong process consulting and operations strategy skills to develop transformation blueprint addressing key business issues
Excellent project management skills in situations that involve cross functional stakeholders and challenges such as scope creep, cultural barriers, tight timelines
Excellent analytical skills - Review and provide direction on projects/programs using Lean Six Sigma principles and statistics
Understanding of Financial metrics, calculations and alignment to organization's metrics
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving approach
Self-motivated; ability to define, structure and prioritize work for self
Ability to guide team in content development for training and other awareness programs
Communication and persuasion skills with the ability to think quickly and package ideas
Ability to manage a team of 3-4 consultants
Demonstrated ability to effectively coach and mentor champions, process owners (client and internal staff)
Excellent change management skills
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
