Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
A site engineer offers advice in the planning, co-ordination and supervision of technical aspects of construction projects. Some of the works done by site engineers
Supervises the work that is being done, basically reinforcement details and execution methods.
Reads the drawing provided and checks the work done by the Mason's is in accordance with that.
Manages timely supply and pour of concrete and various other materials.
Reports the daily progress to project In-charge, Etc.
Must be familiar with formworks, rebar and concreting
Finishing engineer:
1. Controlling projects from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design.
2. Take the "brief" to identify clients' needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals.
3. Produce final design specifications.
4. Revises and updates drawings as required by designated Engineers
5. Compile project specification
6. Review drawings, and ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations.
7. Make on site visits to check on project status and report on Managers/Supervisor
8. Coordinate with designers, technicians and other personnel to incorporate concepts and information into drawing packages.
9. Can perform other tasks that can be assigned by the immediate head.
Concreting Engineer:
Working with architects and engineers to design structures that are structurally sound
Recommending materials, equipment, and methods to increase efficiency and quality of construction materials and methods
Developing plans for the construction of roads and buildings using concrete materials
Conducting laboratory tests on concrete samples to determine the properties of concrete and the most suitable applications for each type of concrete
Consulting with clients on the design of concrete structures such as bridges, buildings, dams, and roads
Conducting field inspections of construction sites to ensure that the concrete work is being done according to specifications
Testing samples of concrete or concrete mixtures to determine their strength or density
Estimating the cost of materials and labor needed to complete projects based on design specifications
Developing technical specifications for concrete mixtures based on client preferences and project requirements
Formworks Engineer:
As a formwork engineer, you will work with other engineers and project managers to develop design molds that form the basis for structures to be built from concrete or other pourable materials. Calculating the correct size, depth and other dimensions of the mold is critical to supporting the structure. You should also have a strong understanding of federal, state and local building regulations, and OSHA safety requirements.
Precast Engineer:
Oversee the coordination of day-to-day operation in the precast concrete activities
Plans, implements and monitors work schedule for daily production outputs in order to meet its production and delivery requirements
Liaises with clients, suppliers and related authorities on project-related issues
Preparation of precast shop drawings for precast (PC) component monitors the progress of coordination and settlement of all discrepancies and issues relating to drawing between team members and clients' relevant representative
Fabrication Engineer
The basic responsibility of a fabrication engineer is to help in the research, design, and development of fabricated products. He has to help the designengineers and suggest measures to develop costefficient and aesthetically pleasing designs. He isrequired to support the production staff in every aspect, so that the final product is identical to thedesign blueprints.
Surveying Engineer
Surveying Engineer collect, analyze, & manage the global spatial infrastructure. Engineering surveyors do planning, design, develop, maintenance & operate systematic process to collect and analyzing spatial information about the land, the oceans, natural resources, and man-made features. Engineering Surveyors will generally be the specialists who first examine a completed design for a project and often will identify any design or practicality issues.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must possess at least Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Engineering (Civil) or Equivalent.
Without working experience, but experience is a plus.
Willing to be assigned at any project
