Basic Qualifications:
• BS Architecture graduate, preferably Registered.
• Proficient in MS Office Applications.
• With good interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
• At least 5 years as a project inspector for architectural works and/or finishes of High Rise Building.
• Exposure to building construction and residential condominium projects.
• Can work under pressure and results-oriented.
The Site Architect will be responsible for the following:
• Responsible for all Architectural works at the construction site. He/she ensures that these works are in accordance with the latest drawings and specifications issued for Construction.
• Supervise and monitor construction and installation of all architectural works supplied and installed by general or specialty contractors/suppliers at the project site.
• Ensure that all architectural installations are in accordance with the technical specification and material submittals approved by the architectural design consultant.
• Coordinates closely with engineers of various trades/disciplines, project managers, and consultants to ensure that the construction is in accordance with the project schedule.
• Attends regular meetings with the owner, consultants, and project manager.
• Coordinates with various consultants on design and construction issues and relay correspondences and documents for information, review, comments, approval by the concerned consultant.
• Assists in the preparation of bid documents necessary for tendering and awarding of the contract.
• Evaluate billings as submitted by contractors/suppliers, and assist the Project QS in the resolution of variation/change orders.
• Conducts in-process inspection of construction works, monitors accomplishment as against project schedule, and recommends construction methodologies and/or alternative materials that affect the timely delivery of services.
• Ensures that all the materials used in the project meet the highest quality standards and specifications.
• Identify defects and prepare defect lists for review of the Construction Manager and ensure the rectification of the defect.
