Job Summary:
 
The Site Architect is responsible for analyzing and inspecting data in relation to accomplishing architectural designs. Coordinates with the Construction Manager and technical team to ensure design specification compliance.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyzes building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs.
Operates computer-aided drafting equipment or conventional drafting station to produce designs, working drawings, charts, forms, and records.
Obtains and assembles data to complete architectural designs, visiting job sites to compile measurements as necessary.
Coordinates structural, electrical, and mechanical designs and determines a method of presentation to graphically represent building plans.
Coordinates with designers, sub-contractors / material suppliers in relation to project accomplishment.
Supervises, coordinates, and inspects the work of the workers on construction projects; and
Ensures compliance with the design specifications and advises on design correction.
Provides ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned from time to time to provide support to the department and the Company.
Qualifications:
Must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree and Professional License in Architecture
With at least 2 years of related working experience preferably from the construction industry
