Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the team and research “best-in-class” website practices to apply
advanced design elements to company websites.
Produce fully functional programs writing clean, testable code
Collaborate with internal teams to identify system, marketing and development
requirements
Develop and design custom themes for Shopify store
Installation of Facebook, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager code and other
pixel tracking apps and code
Integrate back-end data
Design user interface and web layout using HTML/CSS practices
Perform periodical tests and debugging to maximize program efficiency
Create technical documentation for user support
Suggest new features to improve program navigation and operation
Follow security principles
Stay up-to-date with industry developments
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field or equivalent real-world experience
5+ years of proven work experience as a Web programmer / developer
Expert in Shopify development, including building custom themes and features from scratch as well as modifications to existing elements
Hands on experience with various programming languages, like PHP, and Javascript
Familiarity working with HTML/CSS, , Meta tagging, and UTM tracking
Hands on experience with advanced pixel tracking and set up and web funnels
Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization
Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and web application development
Attention to detail
Project management skills within a fast-paced worked environment
An ability to communicate and work in a team
