JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Develop, manage, and maintain new sites, pages, templates, and features for internal and client
2. Take ownership of all front-end development and Shopify configurations for multiple storefronts.
3. Develop on the Shopify platform, apply new themes and applications
4. Build new Shopify sites and integrations to third-party applications
5. Implement and test software products and plugins for Shopify integrations
6. Maintain and enhance existing Shopify eCommerce website while adhering to best practices
7. Work in a team environment to develop responsive front-end experiences in Shopify that engage visitors and convert them into customers
8. Experience with development of custom Shopify templates
9. Collaborate with designers, content, and creative teams, and provide ongoing strategy-driven direction
REQUIREMENTS
1. Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Science & Technology or equivalent.
2. At least 5 years of web development experience is required for this position with at least 2 - 3 years of experience with Shopify
3. Must be proficient in Shopify, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, WordPress
4. Expertise in Shopify theme customization; Shopify/Liquid development experience (you've developed Shopify themes from scratch)
5. A proficiency in working with different Shopify JS APIs (storefront, AJAX Cart, Sections etc)
6. Strong skills with HTML5 and CSS3
7. Experience with development of custom Shopify templates
