Job Description
Ship hull assembly works: Section assembly - flat panels, T-bars, side shell and volume section assembling.
Block erection on pre-erection stage; Hull erection in dry dock
Straightening of the ship hull parts: decks, bulkheads, shell.
Prefabrication and installation of various types of steel outfitting.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or similar fields.
Work experience in sections and blocks assembly at pre-erection, hull assembly stages
Experience of side shell, flat, volume sections assembling and blocks erection
Ability to read shipbuilding drawings (ability to scale, identify and evaluate other engineering systems, etc.)
Ability to read technical symbols (production drawings) for hull welding
Knowledge of standards used in shipbuilding (IACS No.47, 5817 Quality Level C, ISO 8501-3 Preparation Grade 03, etc.)
Must know how to use gas torch
Must know how to do flame straightening
Must know how to do tuck welding
Must be responsible and diligent
Knowledge of English and/or Russian language
