Job Responsibilities
Responsible for shift schedule to include: work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations;
Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers;
Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications;
Troubleshoot and problem solve routine production problems;
Assist with the completion of all required documentation;
Assist in the induction and orientation of production staff;
Provide a working environment that is safe, supportive and encouraging at all time;
Appropriately report all hazards or incidents that may pose a risk;
Adhere to Company policy and procedures.
Job Qualifications
Candidate must be a BS in Mechanical Engineering graduate;
Preferably with at least 2 years of in-depth experience in a manufacturing/production industry;
Must possess excellent communication, leadership and analytical skills;
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
