SHIFT ENGINEER
 
Job Description:
The Shift Engineer is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the efficient operation of various mechanical and electrical systems within a facility, ensuring safety, reliability, and functionality during their assigned shift. This role plays a crucial part in addressing and resolving maintenance and technical issues as they arise.
System Monitoring: Continuously monitor and assess the performance of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical distribution, and more.
Preventive Maintenance: Execute routine preventive maintenance tasks, including equipment inspections, lubrication, and filter changes, to ensure the systems operate optimally. Create and follow maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to system failures, breakdowns, or other emergencies, diagnosing issues and taking corrective action to minimize disruptions.
Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
Coordinate with external service providers or contractors for major repairs or replacements.
Qualifications:
A licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
Has completed the "BOSH" Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training by DOLE.
Familiar with the Occupational Safety & Health Standard
