Job Summary
A Shift Engineer is responsible for the technical tasks. Work closely and reports to the Engineering Manager to ensure the objective of prompt solutions to all aspects of building repairs and maintenance. He works as part of the team, supports and trains the department personnel on technical repair.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Company policy and procedures
All employee should follow corporate policy and operations manual.
Proper grooming monitoring
Proper uniforms shall be follow all the times that includes well-ironed uniform, haircut, shoes, Identification card and nameplate.
Guest concerns
All reported guest concerns must be resolved within 24 hours. Issues that are not resolve within the time line should be explain during the operations meeting. All concerns should be handle properly and timely.
Well-maintained positive guest relations at all times
Implement 24 hour answer back guarantee
All guest complaint should address to the highest standard
Building Audit
To ensure the company facilities are well cared for and adequate to support company's business operations.
Responsible in all electrical, mechanical, civil works and other maintenance concerns
Provide best engineering practices
Be able to perform on shifting day and graveyard schedule and daily submission night duty reports
Monitoring of the delivery of services from contractors and suppliers at times covering night to early morning procedures.
Automatically request service report from visiting contractors /suppliers
In charge of monitoring, the status of Fuel, machinery, water tanks, generators, alarm systems, water pumps, fire extinguisher and all related building equipment's.
Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment daily
Performing preventative maintenance.
Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
Diagnosing electrical, mechanical issues and others maintenance works and correcting them.
Team Meeting
Before initiating a meeting, agenda should be, send in Human Resources via email or hard copy of minutes of the meeting
Staff training/orientation for Policy and Procedures every day (15-30 minutes meeting)
Submission of reports
Assessment of staff productivity
Building Audit monthly
Completion of deliverables, reports, projects and task list.
Project initiatives for facilities improvements
Reports must be complete with substantial and must be submitted on time.
Incident Report must be resolved and reported within 24 hours
Ensures that staff are effective and efficient all the time
Providing policy and procedures in maintenance based on policy of the resort
Email response maximum 24 hours all the maintenance concerns
Safety and Health compliance
Provide safety training to all staff
Represent the company
Establish a safe workplace according to legal standards and foster a culture of attention to health and safety.
Support the development of OHS policies and programs
Safety and health requirements as per DENR, DOLE, DOT and other legal standard.
Government compliance
OTHERS
Undertake other duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to time
