Shift Electrical Engineer
Oversee the efficient operations and maintenance of all building systems during the shift, including the day-to-day training of the operating staff. He will apprise the Senior Engineer of any and all conditions affecting building services during the shift.
The specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to Data Center services, staff supervision and development, purchasing and technical proficiency.
Work collaboratively with the Chief Engineer to ensure planned reactive and preventative tasks are completed on schedule.
Oversee site technicians schedules and assigned tasks to ensure all planned maintenance and reactive tasks are undertaken to meet or exceed the account service level agreements. Supervises and directs critical technician during the shift.
Monitors operation of electrical and mechanical equipment supporting the facility and facility's critical operations during the shift.
Ensure all MSTs are properly trained to meet technical requirements for the position. Provides training and support aimed at expanding the capabilities of the technician staff
Support and ensure the implementation of the client's & JLL's Critical Environment Management program.
Contributes to develop annual maintenance plan. Recommend to schedule equipment to be taken off line so that preventative maintenance can be performed.
Requires the ability to analyze the operation of the various systems, determine the cause of any problem / malfunctions and corrective action as required.
