Job Description
Operates all types of sewing machines with single and/or double needle
Guides parts under needle following edges, seams, guides on machine bed or markings on part
Observes workmanship at previously made parts and subassemblies to detect defects and notifies supervisor or quality control inspector
Selects sewing supplies such as binding, braid, cord, piping, tape, thread or webbing, according to specifications or color of material
Assemble garment parts and join parts with basting stitches, using needles and thread or sewing machines
Develop, copy, or adapt designs for garments, and design patterns to fit measurements, applying knowledge of garment design, construction, styling, and fabric
Fit, alter, repair, and make made-to-measure clothing, according to customers' and clothing manufacturers' specifications and fit, and applying principles of garment design, construction, and styling
Cleans work station area on a daily basis
Adheres to all quality and safety standards
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
Candidates must be a Passport holder
