The Settlements and Data Management is composed of the Asia and UK Settlements Team w Within the EDT (Equities and Derivatives Trading) Operations team we have various teams that support the business, and one of this is the Settlements and Data Team. The Settlements and Data Management is composed of the Asia and UK Settlements Team whose primary function is to ensure timely settlement of trades and accurate data set up for entity, instruments, and standard settlement instructions As a Settlements and Data Management Analyst, your responsibilities include: Monitor settlement of securities for Asia markets by closely working with Middle Office teams and Custodians Ensure that trades are in good order by performing inventory checks and pre-matching prior settlement date Fails management and reporting Reconciliation of cash and stock position Account management and answering account related requests from stakeholders Identify and escalate prudentially to direct and senior management Update client static data and ensure all changes in client static information, commission rates, credit limits, confirmation delivery, custodian details, settlement instructions etc. are updated promptly and accurately Review control reports and perform due diligence to ensure instrument data integrity and consistency across internal applications as well as third party vendor feeds and resolving issues where appropriate Work with internal business units in reviewing static setups and providing liquidity reporting. Maintain high level of communication with other global team locations with a view to providing global coverage Ensure all jobs are carried out in accordance with established policies and procedures and observe internal controls requirements Perform UAT for systems enhancements and new system development or projects Help build and maintain team procedures and make suggestions for enhancements To be successful in this role, it will be helpful if: Be highly motivated with a confident and professional attitude, high level of attention to detail, has the ability to prioritize and problem solve, apply a questioning approach to your work with a view to improve processes and controls Be a team player and comfortable working in a team environment and able to deliver high level of quality service to clients on a daily basis under tight time frames. Experience in securities settlements or market operations or Static Data related is desirable and available to work across different shifts to support the business.
