About the ServiceNow Developer Role:
As a ServiceNow Developer, your projects (clients and teams) will be varied and you will be responsible for the development, design and quality of custom ServiceNow solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities to improve workflow processes
Elicit business requirements and measurable benefits from stakeholders and capture in requirements documentation
Develop the application including configuration, report development and data migration, where applicable
Perform custom development (as required) and third party integration
Carry out unit-testing and defect resolution
Carry out migration of the changes to production environment
Assist with technical design and documentation
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions in ServiceNow that support business requirements
To succeed in this ServiceNow Developer role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.
Key Requirements:
ServiceNow application developer certification required, additional system administrator certification is advantageous
At least two years of applying JavaScript coding/development skills in ServiceNow environments
At least two years of experience designing, building and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements
Advanced in JavaScript development in ServiceNow components
Experience with Web Services Integration
Advanced in experience creating request forms, developing integration with external systems, implementing security (including Access Control Lists), and enhancing the user interface to provide a custom look and feel
High standard of written and verbal communication in English
Bonus points if you have:
Working knowledge of Linux operating system
Experience with System/Process Automation (Orchestration)
Experience with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including client requirement analysis and system design
DevOps experience
ITIL certification
Experience working with other enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, MS 365)
Experience working in a consulting environment
