Description
The Technician Support Associate is responsible for assisting US Field Technicians to identify and order parts
needed for equipment repairs. They will also be responsible for verifying the manufacturer and model/serial
information going into the Smart Care operating system is accurate. The individual will assist the Onshore Tech via working remotely in a BPO office environment
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Validates kitchen equipment parts needed by the Field Technician
• Validates the service tech has entered proper "work scope" into work order before adding parts
• Elevating work orders that do not meet specific criteria to Level II Tech Support
• Adds parts needed by the field technician to the work order
• Asset and Database management - enters information in the client's CRM of the makes and
models of the kitchen equipment
• Verification of the equipment information from the Original Equipment Manufacturer and Field
technician
• Assists Field technician in the diagnostic and repair of kitchen equipment
• Logs into the work order management system to find, accept and complete the work requests
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
REQUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of experience In the commercial kitchen equipment maintenance or Installation
• High School or Diploma in Refrigeration, Electrical/ Mechanical or Engineering
• Profound knowledge of how various types of kitchen and refrigeration equipment work.
• Strong ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams, and to follow manuals on operation and
installation to complete tasks
• Exceptional ability to properly investigate problems with food equipment, discover the issue, and
correct it
• Able to read, understand, and quote customer prices.
• Strong ability to quickly understand and carry out both written and oral instructions effectively
• Repair and maintenance experience in the commercial kitchen or dining service field
• Strong knowledge of basic electrical practice, theory, and safety
• Strong knowledge of the fundamental of commercial refrigeration practice and theory
• Computer literate. Experience in asset management programming.
• Able to work in a fast paced work in a BPO office environment and night shift hours
