Service Desk Engineer
Job Description:
Customer Service:
• Communicate to the customer in a polite and clear manner to get exact details of the problem.
• Resolve/Troubleshoot the issues in a timely and professional manner using technical competencies.
• Manage P1 investigations and escalate to SDM & SE.
• Deliver consistent high level of customer service.
Admin Functions:
• Manage all support tickets and alert management.
• Own initial investigations of P1 and P2 incidents prior to escalating to Senior Service Desk engineer.
• Ensure that work records are filled out accurately.
• Enter all relevant information into correct fields in system immediately.
• Update site documentation accordingly.
• Undertake Procurement and Quoting activities occasionally.
Performance:
• Carry out other tasks assigned by the Head of Service Delivery.
• Prioritize workload to ensure work of the greatest importance to the business is undertaken with
urgency and to a high standard.
• Manage all business resources within accountability levels.
• Comply with all employment obligations.
• Promptly undertake to complete all reasonable and lawful instructions and directions given.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or any related field
• At least 2 years of experience in the same role
• Solid experience in using Microsoft Apps, ESX, Cisco, and Citrix
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
• Ability to handle working in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptionally client focused and displayed a strong commitment to excellent customer service
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
Requirements
Minimum education level: Bachelor ́s Degree
