To provide troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, cabling, installation and configuration of all servers and network devices, etc. . To provide technical assistance to other project offices such as resolving network issues, internet and local LAN installation and configuration. Responsibilities : . Hourly monitoring of all servers and firewall activities and performance. . Daily monitoring of all company internet lines uptime status. . Execute Daily and weekly system backup. . Making sure that all required anti-virus updates, patches and security updates of all windows servers must be updated at all times. . Configuration of firewall, managed switches, routers, etc. . Download latest firmware of all network devices and servers. . Provide assistance to technical support specialist in conducting repair of workstations and other office equipment such as printers, copier and CCTV cameras. . Execute orders given by the IT manager or VP MIS relating to office/branch technical support requirements.Reporting Channel: . The person should directly report to the IT manager. Qualification: . Graduate of any IT related courses. . At least 2 years experience as server and network administrator. . Network certification is an added points but not required. Knowledge and Skills: . Knowledge of basic computer hardware. . Knowledge of server OS specially Windows 2012 version including installation and configuration of Hyper-V system . Knowledge in network devices such as managed/unmanaged switches (DLINK), Fortinet Firewall, SonicWall, other routers, access point installation and configuration. . Knowledge in VPN configuration is an added points. . Knowledge of Synology Admin console management is an added points. . Experience with desktop operating systems including Windows 7,8,10, Linux, and Mac OS X . Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities. . Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
