SEO Specialist Roles and Responsibilities 
Performing keyword research
Optimizing meta data and on-page content
Auditing client websites and identifying technical SEO issues
Reviewing client link profiles to identify toxic links
Providing internal linking recommendations
Identifying top pages to target for link building
Creating keyword ranking and traffic reports for clients
Implementing optimization improvements on clients' websites
Analyzing client competitors and identifying SEO opportunities 
Providing weekly updates to SEO Project Managers
Responding to internal emails and questions
Maintaining an understanding of industry trends
Required Qualifications
At least 2-4 years’ experience with search engine optimization
Knowledgeable with SEO best practices and ranking factors
Familiar with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and how websites work
Proficient with Microsoft Excel
Experience using keyword research tools such as Ahrefs Keyword Explorer, SEM Rush, or Google Keyword Planner tool
Experience using crawling tools such as Xenu or Screaming Frog
Experience with link research tools such as Moz.com, Majestic.com, and Ahrefs.com
Excellent English verbal and written communication 
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
College degree
Knowledgeable with other aspects of online marketing
Experience working with eCommerce websites
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint
Experience working with project management systems such as Basecamp or Teamwork
