SEO ANALYST
The SEO Analyst executes channel-specific audits and appraisals. The individual’s day-to-day will include analyzing prospects’ current marketing strategies to identify inefficiencies and opportunities to unlock growth for the brand.
This time, what we’re looking for is someone who will analyze SEO data and make recommendations/forecasts, not someone who will strategize and execute the campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Perform SEO viability assessment by identifying keyword buckets for growth potential and search volume thresholds. Identification of on-page, content, technical and off-page tactics needed to capture this potential traffic.
On-page SEO strategy analysis to identify pages that can benefit from on-page optimization. Identify trends in on-page strategy across a website to determine if the site wide on-page strategy allows for best performance. Identify specific pages that can benefit from on-page optimization.
Technical SEO assessment to identify issues/areas of opportunity with website crawling, page speed, schema, XML sitemaps and robots.txt files as well as any other identifiable technical optimizations.
Local SEO analysis to identify issues/areas of opportunity with Google MyBusiness profile optimization, local landing page strategy and citation building.
Off-page SEO analysis to identify gaps in website authority compared to competitive landscape as well as identify potentially toxic links.
Perform SEO forecasts to forecast traffic based off of keyword opportunity and areas of improvement within the current SEO strategy.
Work within Google slides to display assessment findings & outline strategic needs for growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree holder OR with equivalent experience relevant to the role
Experience with SEO analysis and auditing, making sense of data from campaigns in order to determine its success, make recommendations or identify areas of improvement
Solid background and knowledge with SEO, how campaigns are executed (on-page and off-page), and the metrics that can assess performance
Possess technical SEO skills
Experience with Google Analytics and Google MyBusiness
Proficient with Google Slides or presentations
Excellent English communication skills
