SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER
 
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a team of developers, designers, and Project Managers on web and mobile app projects.
Research "best-in-class" website practices to apply advanced design elements in website development.
Produce fully functional programs and write clean, testable code.
Design the user interface and web layout using HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
Able to multi-task projects.
Lead a team of developers.
Assist and complement team director.
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing WordPress sites.
Experienced with WordPress as a CMS, with at least 3 years of expertise in developing custom themes.
High-level PHP skills.
Excellent front-end development skills.
Able to convert designs to responsive templates.
Background in creating technical documentation for user support.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Able to manage time across multiple projects and tasks in a deadline-driven team environment.
Experience as a technical lead or in a supervisory role.
Proficient in JavaScript libraries and frameworks, including but not limited to React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, and NodeJS.
Willing and able to embrace, learn and apply new techniques, methodologies, and technical approaches.
Nice to have:
Able to build or modify plug-ins.
Shopify experience.
Hybrid or native mobile app development experience or know-how.
