Job Description
About the role:
Summary/objective:
Design, create, and modify Web sites. Analyze user needs to implement Web site content, graphics, performance, and capacity. May integrate Web sites with other computer applications. May convert written, graphic, audio, and video components to compatible Web formats by using software designed to facilitate the creation of Web and multimedia content.
Essential functions:
Write supporting code for Web applications or Web sites.
Design, build, or maintain Web sites, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media.
Back up files from Web sites to local directories for instant recovery in case of problems.
Write, design, or edit Web page content, or direct others producing content.
Select programming languages, design tools, or applications.
Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
Mentor junior designers in advanced design concepts coaching sessions and provide feedback.
Design, create, and optimize graphic content for social media, online ads, and website use Performs other duties as assigned.

Concept and develop marketing collateral, inclusive of websites, landing pages, emails, e- newsletters, logos, brand identities, infographics, sell sheets, eBooks, interactive PDFs, PowerPoint presentations, print ads, postcards and other collateral as needed
Position requirements:
Required education and experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Web Development or Information Technology
At least 5+ years of experience in the design and/or web development industry
At least 5+ years of experience using WordPress
Strong client-side coding skills and experience (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/JQuery)
In-depth knowledge of web design and maintenance
Advanced experience with search engine functions and optimization (SEO/SEM)
Experience with web page versioning/source control and of Content Management
