About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Video Editor to join an exciting full-service creative agency based in New York with a growing team in Cebu. You'll be responsible for editing compelling videos and inspiring visual ideas across advertising media.
This is a night shift, office-based, in a central location in Cebu City.
About You
You enjoy working in a small and talented team to make awesome work and show the world. You are hands-on in video production and confident to bring your ideas to life. You are an ambitious, independent, self-motivated and creatively minded individual who wishes to showcase their video editing and visual communication skills across a variety of projects and mediums.
What is expected of you:
Manipulate and edit short videos
Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
Create rough and final cuts
Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Video Editor
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages - Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
Familiarity with special effects, animation, 3D and compositing
Creative mind and storytelling skills
Intermediate to Advanced level in MsOffice
BS degree in film studies, cinematography or a related field is preferred but not essential
