Job Descriptions:
PRODUCTION AND MATERIALS PLANNING
• Oversee yearly sales forecast versus available plant capacity and recommends manpower, machines, and additional equipment if needed
• Oversee monthly rolling forecast of the business units before each run of materials requirements planning (MRP)
• Responsible to ensures that the production plan is optimized, achieved, and delivered following the requirements of the Business Lines and Customers
• Responsible to ensures that all possible production stoppages are properly coordinated to all Business Lines and timely mitigated
• Responsible to ensures seamless coordination with Manufacturing, QA, and Logistics to meet on-time production and on-time delivery schedule to customer
• Consolidates information (output, backlogs, rejections, etc.) from all sections in the Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing Department, make analysis, updates all concerned, and recommends proper action
• Ensures timely rework / re-process of rejected products within the required shelf life to avoid spoilage of the products
PROCUREMENT
• Carries out a full spectrum of purchasing operation, i.e. price negotiation, vendor sourcing and selection, and liaising with vendors on issues related to purchase materials
• Implements supplier accreditation program and certification requirements in compliance with company policies, continuously develop alternative source of all materials
• Proactively participates in vendor plant audit for continuous improvement of systems and other relevant policies
• Focus on developing and maintaining long-term relationships with trading partners who can help the purchaser meet profitability and partners' satisfaction goals
• Actively advising in the where-to-make, make-buy decision process
WAREHOUSE AND LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT
• Apply a systematic approach to designing and managing the entire flow of information, materials, and services - from raw materials, suppliers, through warehouses, and finally to the requester.
• Control the movement of products and storage of materials within a warehouse.
• Configure warehouses to have formal storage locations that identify the row, rack section, level, and shelf location by placing high-turn items closest to packing and shipping areas, which will reduce transportation within the warehouse.
• Design and optimization of number, size, location of warehouses/distribution.
Job Requirements: *College degree in Engineering or any related business course *Five (5) years or more experience (preference to logistics and or supply chain) Confidently manage and change processes *Strong organizational skills - Attention to detail is a must. *Ability to analyze situations and environments, then make suggestions for improvements to processes. *Ability to work well with people from all levels of the organization *Ability to competently and Strong communication skills
