Job Description
Leads Optical profiler and AFM Metrology Engineering for both process and equipment functions
Manages the team of metrology engineers and technicians to support day-in and day-out operations
Oversee GR&R, calibration, and correlation periodic recall
Oversee SPC, and OEE to ensure the indicators are kept within control
Drives improvement related to tool-to-tool sigma, tool optimization, capacity, cycle time, availability, uptime, MTBF, and MTTR
Interacts with other functions outside the team for alignment and standardization affecting Wyko and AFM metrology, and/or to address any production line issues or customer related issues
Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent
Preferably senior engineer position with at least 8 years of working experience in the field of Metrology Engineering, with technical knowledge on AFM, Optical profilers, hardware and applications
Knowledgeable in JMP, Minitab, and QMF
Knowledgeable in GR&R, calibration, correlation, and SPC fundamentals. At least Yellow Belt Certified, Greenbelt Trained
