As the Senior Supervisor for Outgoing Product and Indirect material Analysis Function, you are responsible in leading the team to achieve the expected result in support to the manufacturing operations. You will manage the over all operations and engineering activities of the team to be able to provide the expected support. The scope of the team function includes Product Characterization through SEM-EDX, LPC, IC and GC as well and Chemical and Material Analysis through RAMAN, FTIR and other wet chemistry characterization and spectroscopy techniques
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Over all Management of the assigned team including analytical skills and capability growth of the team members.
Review and Approve Engineer's output while generating over all team report
Sets team objective and plans effectively while coaching & mentoring engineers and technicians within the organization to achieve the set targets.
Communicate, engage and supports the function /department and site objectives.
Communicates to higher management and executives when necessary
Demonstrate strong capability in problem solving to support operations and issues that requires the analytical expertise of the team.
Manage the team's spending
Support Company activities and implementation of policies and programs
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in related field (Chemical Engineering, BS Chemistry, BS Material Science)
Minimum of 5 years of recent experience working in the area of Material and Chemical Analysis Laboratory in a manufacturing Industry set-up.
Advance skills in Problem solving and Failure analysis
PREFERRED:
Masters degree in related field or its equivalent experience or capability is an advantage
Skills in data science and data mining is an advantage, automation or programing is an advantage
SKILLS:
Demonstrate strong expertise in Analytical techniques ( SEM-EDX, RAMAN, FTIR, GC,IC,LPC and other related skills)
Demonstrate strong capability on data analytics and problem solving.
Ability to make clear, logical decisions based on facts, taking into consideration the big picture, long and short term effects, and exercising sound judgment when handling complaints, confidential and sensitive issues
Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and relational skills, with the ability to quickly develop relationships of trust and confidence with a variety of people and personalities, at all levels within an organization
Self-motivated with the ability to effectively multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment
Strong active listening skills with the ability to ask thoughtful and probing questions to determine client needs
Demonstrated ability to deliver consistent positive results through influencing, coordinating and managing the efforts of others
