Roles and Responsibilities
. Client Work - Understand the client's books and own the process of their deliverables, timelines,
accounts, processes, and procedures.
. Provide continuous full-cycle accounting to multiple clients, ensuring that complex issues are
resolved, and all client expectations are managed and exceeded with a high degree of efficiency
and effectiveness.
. Perform transactional accounting, general bookkeeping responsibilities that include managing
AP, AR, and payroll.
. Manage full scope of vendors.
. Maintain client confidentiality and keeping all client information organized and up to date.
. Complete monthly bank, credit card and brokerage reconciliations.
. Team Mentality - Has a team mindset on the assigned tasks, understands the team's goals and
contributes to streamline the process of completing set goals.
. Prioritize team workload, keeping utilization metrics consistent with set goals.
. Develop and foster positive, respectful relationships with team members.
. Demonstrates a willingness to learn new methods, procedures, and techniques that embrace change.
Minimum Qualifications
. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
. Minimum 3 years experience as a Staff Accountant.
. Organized, detail-oriented, and ability to be a task master if/when necessary.
. Very good communication skills (written and verbal)
. Experience working remotely and tracking time.
. Intermediate to advanced computer skills working with various office equipment, computers and programs including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
Software Skills
The following software systems are used frequently, and extensive experience is preferred:
. QuickBooks Desktop
. QuickBooks Online
