Senior Software Engineer in Makati 
 
 
MUST HAVE 7 years of experience in programming and has strong Laravel and Vue.js skills.
 
The client core stack is PHP (Laravel), JavaScript (VueJS/NodeJS) and Elasticsearch. 
The successful applicant will have experience in one or all of these technologies, and the team will support you further learning as required. 
 
While you make sure your code is efficient and well-structured, you aren't in this for the nerdy details of software development – You primarily see coding as a means to deliver the outcome: a great functional platform (and not just a static website).   
 
 
Duties and Responsibilities  
-Help to maintain our large, complex and active code base. 
-Ensure the code is efficient and well-structured. 
-Identify and fix code defects. 
-Work with others to establish and implement coding best practice. 
-Contribute to the strategic direction of the company. 
 
 
 
Technical skills: 
-PHP (Laravel) 
-Javascript (VueJS/NodeJS)  
-JQuery 
-HTML 
-MySQL 
 
 
 
Qualifications and Experience:  
-Minimum 7 years' experience in programming. 
-Experience in PHP (Laravel) and Javascript (VueJS/NodeJS) is REQUIRED. 
-Strong English communication skills; written and spoken is REQUIRED. 
-Must be organized and always want to provide the best possible level of customer service. 
-Excellent attention to detail and time/priority management 
-Desire to work in a team; enthusiastic and passionate about your profession and want to make a valuable contribution  
 
 
 
Education:  
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar
Knowledge of FIX (Financial Information Exchange) a plus
