Required Skills / Experience:
• 5+ years of experience developing web applications using the Java programming language
• 5+ years of experience writing and optimizing SQL queries
• 3+ years of experience developing products hosted in AWS cloud.
• Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Excellent listening, fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work on a small team, flexible to adapt to changes as we grow, and be dependable
Knowledge of the following is an advantage:
• Eclipse Vert.x
• RxJava
• Reactive programming
• jOOQ
• Backbone and React Javascript frameworks
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Participate in the development of our company's SaaS product
• Backend database application development
• Frontend application development
• Test and release production code based on company policies
• Contribute to product development planning and roadmap
• Participate in status calls after hours on occasion or as needed
• Other duties as assigned
