Job Description
The Role:
We are seeking seasoned malware and security savvy candidates to augment our team and contribute in the malware investigation, detection, classification, validation, and release activities in support of our leading edge advanced malware detection solutions.
Responsibilities:
Handle customer detection issues, provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues
Prepare accurate and timely reports
Discover, track and analyze latest malware, network and email cyber threats
Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles
Qualifications
3+ years of direct or equivalent experience in the areas of network, email security/malware analysis
Knowledge in computer and IT security.
Knowledge in cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Knowledge in network traffic analysis tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump
Additional Qualifications:
Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analysis skills
Experience working in fast-paced development environments
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Excellent inter-personal and teamwork skills
Self-driven, proactive, hardworking, team-player with a good sense of humor
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience
