JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop and execute automation testing scripts. Design, develop and execute performance testing scripts. Create comprehensive test cases relevant to test conditions. Identify, raise, and retest software defects and record results in defect management tool. Monitor and maintain automation and performance testing scripts. Drive the team to deliver more frequently by enabling continuous integration. Maintains documentation of the automated scripts to assist debugging and users. Participate in sprint ceremonies like scrum meetings, sprint planning and retrospective, productgrooming and analysis. Assess scopes and provide estimates for testing. Propose and implement process improvements that could benefit the whole project team. QUALIFICATIONS The role requires the candidate to have at least 3+ years of experience and has a strong Quality Assurance and QA Automation/manual background. The ideal candidate should be self-driven and motivated team player. Both written and verbal communication skills should be nothing short of excellent. The candidate must be able to read and comprehend business requirements to develop test plans and test cases. We are looking for this person to be logical and able to breakdown and understand complex systems. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or related software engineering discipline or equivalent 3 years total experience as QA Engineer At least 3 years of automation testing and hands-on scripting experience Can design, development and do Testing using Selenium or other automation tools on their own (can work with minimal to no supervision) Experience in test automation frameworks such as Cypress.io, Selenium, Playwright, Webdriver.io,or similar. A solid understanding of OOP development practices and demonstrable experience with JavaScript, Typescript or similar A good understanding on web technologies such as HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript and NodeJS A passion for testing experience, particularly web front-end and back-end testing experience. Working knowledge of tools such as ASANA, BitBucket, Git, Azure DevOps Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL database including SQL and MongoDB Experience in traditional, iterative, or Agile development practices is highly desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to solve technical problems and implement innovative solutions. Ability to work under pressure and on tight deadlines. Ability to understand and analyze complex systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with adaptability to change. Ability to maintain and scale fully functional framework. Collaborative attitude, willingness to be coached, do code reviews, share skills and methods. Attention to detail, passion for product quality and an eye for customer's needs
