We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team of 15.

This role will sit within the Technology team, amongst our CTO, Tech Lead, Business Analyst, Full-Stack Engineers.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Draft and implement testing plans
Design, create, execute and analyse manual and automated tests both for the sprint as well as regression testing
Lead the testing and QA of frontend and backend applications
Document issues in Jira with constructive information for replication and triage by engineering team
Attend stand-ups with internal team and clients to align on testing requirements
Write clear and concise bug write ups
Cross-browser front-end testing for alignment with UI, interactions and behaviours
Back-end review and testing to ensure applications are working to specification (depending on the project this may involve inspecting databases or logging into SaaS applications like Salesforce to review testing outcomes)
Keep up-to-date with the latest technology and programming trends
Work within a cross-functional team with other professionals such as Project Managers, UX & UI Designers, Digital Marketers, Developers etc
Assume technical authority in client facing situations
Qualifications and Requirements:
At least 5 years' working experience as a QA Engineer/Tester
A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
Experience working with:
API testing tools like Postman or Insomnia
Design software such as Figma
Testing tools such as BrowserStack
Agile methodology
Experience in open-source automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress and Cucumber
Strong knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to communicate technical problems and solutions to cross-functional team
A love of problem-solving and investigating problems
A hunger to learn technology
