Position Summary:
Responsible for designing automated tests to validate applications by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. This includes determining priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios.
Essential Job Functions "What You'll Do":
- Design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks
- Coach QAs and Devs on the usage and implementation of test frameworks
- Collaborate and liaise with Product Owners to understand business requirements
- Perform peer code reviews for automation and framework scripts
- Provide support for issue resolution and critical production bug fixes.
- Perform manual testing tasks from time to time.
Essential Qualifications "What You'll Need":
- Proven experience in designing and developing test automation test frameworks
- Strong experience with Selenium or similar UI testing tool
- Good experience with Behavior Driven development using Cucumber
- Good understanding of web development technologies such as PHP, .NET Core/Framework, JAVA, JavaScript, and/or jQuery
- Proven experience and understanding of Agile and DevOps concepts and practices, JIRA development suite (JIRA and Confluence), and Git
- Amenable to work on a night shift scheduled
