Job Title: Public Affairs Senior Specialist Department: Government Affairs Division: Corporate Affairs Reports To: Government Affairs Manager with dotted-line reporting to the Project Manager Category: Project-based (initial 6 months) Summary: The Public Affairs Senior Specialist is a project-based role for an initial duration of six months, depending on the project timeline and implementation. He/she shall be responsible for researching, evaluating, and analyzing the project's impact on the community, and engaging key stakeholders to help ensure project approval. Success in the role means being able to secure endorsement and support for the project. Responsibilities: Assist in the development and management of the project's public affairs initiative in Baguio City. Provide insights on local business, political, and community matters based on reliable data, public resources, and stakeholder connections that may impact the project Develop relationships and engage identified audiences on project-related discussions and forums; providing vetted, relevant, and useful information to influencers, private sector stakeholders, media, government counterparts, and related sectoral or cause-oriented groups and associations Monitor local public perception and sentiment of the project on social media and other platforms Monitor local media, local legislation, administrative policies, and other related issuances that have an impact on the project Provide in-depth information and analysis on local business, community, and political personalities Attend project meetings and submit scheduled reports on activities Represent the company as needed for project-related events. Conduct dialogues and discussions with identified stakeholders as may be required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in political science, public administration, or a related field 5-7 years of experience in public affairs or a related discipline A resident of Baguio City or Baguio-based.
