The Senior Project Information Manager (PIM) acts as the Project Manager of automation technology for the project, managing the information technology, automation, and information/data management requirements for the project team. The PIM is charged with maximizing the efficiency of the project team and achieving the project goals through the best application of automation technology tools and methods. This position is normally assigned to a project with complex automation issues, multiple sites, and work-sharing locations. This role may manage or provide direct and general supervision to other PIMs.
Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
. Work with the client and project management to analyze and develop the work process, and identify the desired electronic interaction among the client, partners, contractors, suppliers, and Fluor
. Coordinate the automation scope, services, budget, and schedule
. Coordinate design automation kickoff activities and provide overall cross-discipline automation coordination
. Identify the level of electronic communication (connectivity) and support functions to be provided at the construction site and make recommendations to project management
. Identify any special local area network/wide area network (LAN/WAN) requirements and activities computing requirements for the project
. Define, support, and enforce standards and work practices to enable multi-office/company project execution (work-sharing activities) and Electronic Data Interchange
. Develop the Project Information Management (PIM) scope of work, deliverables, and schedule for implementation in cooperation with the project management, client, and contractor teams
Basic Job Requirements
. Minimum 5 years of experience in IT service delivery management or coordination roles in a global enterprise environment
. Preferably with at least 3 years of experience in the EPC / EPCM industry
o Experienced with supporting and/or managing the project engineering infrastructure and software systems for engineering, procurement, CAD, project management, collaboration tools, relational databases, data and document management functions
o Good understanding of design engineering and project execution processes and knowledge of leading software solutions (from providers such as AVEVA, Autodesk, Bentley Systems, Hexagon, etc.) and usage of these systems in work sharing and distributed execution involving geographically dispersed operating centers and/or external partners/contractors
. Strong knowledge of IT systems (client-server operating systems, server configuration, software installation and configurations)
. Proficiency in the use of MS 365 platform and applications and experience of managing data within a Common Data Environment for projects
. Good knowledge of web portal, process automation, and collaboration solutions such as SharePoint, Teams, etc.
Work Mode: Full-time onsite reporting at company's office
Office Location: Filinvest Corporate City, Alabang, Muntinlupa City
Required Work Hours: Standard business hours (compressed work week) with flexibility to join meetings and perform work tasks during US business hours.
