Senior Product Manager for ProductionZalora

In the role of Senior Product Manager for Production, you will have the chance to take upon yourself a challenge to truly put your skills to test. You would be handed the opportunity to work with the most fashionable department in Zalora - the Production Team.
By managing the entire product content creation - from photographing the apparels, shoes, and accessories in a multi-studio environment to video graphing eye-catching snapshots for our customers - they assure the product at hand has the right kind of presentation on our website.
In addition, the team has a very challenging goal to always maintain the balance between speed, quality, and cost of the production while the volumes are continuously growing and specific requirements for brands are bringing more complexity to the table.
By being their first dedicated Product Manager, your aim is to map out the needs of the team, evaluate the opportunities and step-by-step deliver upon a self-created roadmap with your own dedicated development team. The provided technological solutions would need to unify the different processes and needs across 3 countries - Malaysia, Philippines, and Indonesia.
The position gives you autonomy and responsibility while working together with Production Teams and being part of a Regional Team of Product Managers.
Responsibilities:
Driving your solution from start to finish - understanding the business challenge, conducting necessary workshops for solutioning, engaging necessary teams throughout the discovery process, defining the requirements and being able to break the delivery into small, yet complete increments that will bring value after every release. You are able to coordinate both - technical and business go lives, announcing your releases, and managing your internal user adoption.
Evaluate and advise on new business ideas for each market with regards to enhancements of the developed systems.
You will manage the communication between an engineering team and the needs of internal business stakeholders.
You will write detailed (technical and non-technical) requirements for our developers and work with them to assure that the features are delivered as requested.
You will assure that user experience, features, and workflows within the platform deliver the expected user and business benefit.
Train, help and educate users on how to use the systems within the areas.
Requirements
You understand e-commerce concepts and have preferably previous experience in the area of (fashion) production processes.
You are diligent, detail-oriented, and have the ability to prioritize and release the high number of requests that are logged in our ticket system every month.
You have experience in agile software development methodologies and are familiar with Scrum, Kanban, or other lean software development workflows.
You are familiar with any industry-standard tools used for software development projects such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.
You know how to define a product roadmap and ensure thorough project management in order to meet your deliverables.
You have experience of working together with 20+ people from different teams and departments to coordinate the successful delivery of your solution.
You are very hands-on and will make sure you know your solution and area better than anyone else in the company!
You are comfortable working with remote teams.
You have the mindset of being data-informed - making informed decisions based on relevant data and measurements.
