This position serves as a material planning, purchasing, expediting, logistics or field purchasing team member with guidance from Purchasing Management, handling critical project material or non-project procurements in support of program office, overhead departments, or indirect procurement categories.
. Manage & provide status on critical materials & professional services orders
. Generate and maintain procurement files that meet FAR and acquisition manual requirements
. Plan and execute the material planning, purchasing, and logistics associated with commodities or engineered equipment, systems, or COTS materials in support of project operations and/or in support of site operations
. Assist in the handling of complex material planning, purchasing, logistics, or field purchasing functions and execute those actions within established Material Management Plans, policies, and procedures
. Other supply chain procurement duties as assigned
Salary Range: $95,000 to $115,000
Positions covered by the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act or Davis-Bacon Act will comply with the statute requirements.
Basic Job Requirements
. Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and four (4) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eight (8) years if non-degreed some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
. Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
. Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
. Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
. Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
. Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience
. Applicable professional certification (s) or license(s) (PMP, ASCM, CPP, CMRP, APPM, NCMA)
. Procurement experience primarily supporting government contracts and customers
. Extensive experience and knowledge of the FAR and other govt. regulations
. Effective computer and application skills to include the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook as well as the use of Adobe Acrobat
. Critical thinking and decision-making skills
. Experience using Cost Point
