Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or relevant field.
2+ years' experience as a Loan Processor or similar role is preferred
In-depth knowledge of closing procedures, loan processes, and documentation
Good understanding of banking computer software and MS Office
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good multitasking abilities with outstanding time management skills
Responsible for a pipeline, both purchase and refinances
Review loan application package for completeness and accuracy, reconcile application against system input
Responsible for gathering required documentation from customer and third parties in support of the loan approval decision
Responsible for prompt, professional communication to customers, loan officers & underwriters
Responsible for calculating and analyzing income, assets and liabilities
Utilization of Encompass and company procedures
Establish an ongoing relationship by delivering best-in-class customer service
Responsibilities:
● Monitor and train on customer service maintaining company published score goals
● Mentor new loan processors
● Monitor and train team to maintain QC score of 1.00
● Monitor and train team to maintain Avg # Suspense Items score of 2.00
● Oversee the daily management of the aged loans report
● Manage BFA goals for the upcoming month
● Manage timely pre-draw of loans in the pipeline
● Provide support for the Regional Processing Manager when they are unavailable or out of the office
● Assist the loan processors with questions and issues on guidelines and loan files
● Assist the Regional Processing Manager in identifying training needs
● Assist in daily pipeline management to include monitoring the following reports; Projected to Close, Timeline Exception, Loan Approval Conditions
● Conduct in depth pipeline reviews with Loan Processors as needed (weekly or monthly)
● Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
● Valuation ordering and follow up
● File lodgement to lender
● Broker phone support 9AM to 6PM
● Lender follow up to settlement
● Solicitor follow up to settlement
● Regular broker updates during application process
● Regular customer updates during application process
● Any other tasks as directed by POC/Australian Management
