Overview / Purpose of the position
We have key positions available for this role as a Project/Product Lead for Sustainability to serve our esteemed clientele and support the growth of a strong team of professionals at the national and APAC level.

Applicants will be part of a dynamic team of specialists involved to conduct various types of audits and tutoring and working closely with BSI clients to help them improve their performance by assessing their systems and processes against ISO and BSI standards. Your key responsibilities in this role will be to:

Provide technical support for sustainability project/product range such as but not limited to ISO14064, ISO14067, Green House Gas (GHG), Carbon Footprint, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and other relevant Sustainability Report Assurance (SRA) based national and international standards
Play a pivotal role in auditing organizations or products to evaluate their performance in relation to their sustainable development goals
Conducting an ESG, GHG, SRA or any related management system assessment to help businesses to look at supply-chain risks, risk management capabilities, and transparency with shareholders.
Conduct various types of audits as Team Leader or Team Member and prepare assessment reports and deliver findings to clients to ensure client understanding of the assessment decision and clear direction to items of corrective action where appropriate
Lead assessment teams as required ensuring that team members are adequately briefed so that quality of service is maintained and that effective working relationships are sustained with clients and within the team.
Recommend the issue, re-issue or withdrawal of certificates, and report recommendations in accordance with BSI policies and procedures within the prescribed time frame.
Provide accurate and prompt information to support services, working closely with them to ensure that client records are up to date and complete and that all other internal information requirements are met.
Maintain overall account responsibility and accountability for nominated accounts to ensure an effective partnership, whilst ensuring excellent service delivery and account growth.
Establish regular communication with global/regional project/product champions for updates and be aware of any project/products or schemes offerings related to sustainability
Assist in developing and executing GTM plan for market penetration with a thorough market analysis on a regular basis and engage project/product in the community market events such as seminars, conferences, exhibitions, training, etc.
Support and/or prepare localization of contents and approaches for the project/product/services at country and APAC level
Embark any local initiatives by global/region for any new schemes/accreditations
Conduct training activities, both public and in-house to related ISO standards or client-specific requirements as defined by the project/product
Support the development delivery of training materials for the product and client specific for internal and external stakeholders including auditors and clients.
Support the development of BSI Auditors and Tutors, ensuring capacity and capability building training plans for the Sustainability project/product range are implemented and deliver adequate professional resources development.
Assist in identifying resource capacity mapping and planning on the project/product for both Auditor/Tutor/Sales personnel
Coach colleagues as appropriate especially where those members are inexperienced assessors or unfamiliar with clients business/technology and assist in the induction and coaching of new colleagues as requested
Plan/schedule workloads to make best use of own time and maximize revenue-earning activity.
Build great relationships, learn about their business and products, and with your audits allow them to achieve the state of enhanced and sustainable services.
For this role we are looking for someone who has the following experience and expertise:
To be successful in this role you need to thrive in a process-driven, fast pace, customer-focused environment and have the ability to make impartial decisions, quickly and efficiently, based on facts. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and an eye for detail. You must be self-motivated and can remain calm whilst managing numerous priorities. Good IT and systems skills are essential.
You will also be required to have:
Professional education or training to an equivalent level of tertiary education level in Environmental/Social/Safety/Legal or similar field preferred with proven experience
Experience in working full time in practical workplace experience in any relevant industry
Exiting qualified Lead Verifier/Verifier for any related 3rd party or industry requirements with experience in conducting and delivering verification assessments and SRA on schemes such as ISO14064-1, ISO14067, PAS2060, Carbon Footprint, Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), Supply chain, CSR, and work experience in a Verification Company identified in Green House Gas Verification Legislation would be added advantage
Proven knowledge of how a business operates to ensure appropriate interpretation of management system standards (i.e. ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001, ISO37106, etc.)
Demonstrate thorough technical knowledge to be able to interpret the language of the client's organization
Learning ability to keep up with changes to business, industry, management thinking, and developing assessment styles
Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills, as well as energy, passion, and commitment
It is essential that you are qualified in a minimum of three (3) of the below standards. This is a pre-requisite to be considered for these roles:
