About the Senior IT Manager (Oracle R-12 Finance & Tax, Laguna-based) Role:
You will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Oracle ERP responsible for delivering a portfolio of projects and enhancements to the ERP and satellite systems such as General Ledger, Advanced Global Intercompany Systems (AGIS), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Financial Reporting, Project Accounting (PA) and Tax. You will drive a portfolio of projects to successful completion, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, design and drive strategic finance system enhancements and process improvement projects that serve company's global accounting, treasury, tax, FP&A and finance operations
Develop, design, test and manage operational processes related to business requirements
Manage the financial integration plan, process and strategy related to M&A activity
Interface with business to understand the scope and requirements. Act as the liaison with business managers, business users and IT execution team. Support definition of use cases, scenarios, etc.
Lead a team to deliver business results and support the business group on day-to-day operations and month/quarter-end close
Partner and drive alignment with cross-functional teams on enterprise-wide initiatives
Serve as a point of escalation for any project issues, identify roadblocks, develop mitigation plan and communicate project status to stakeholders in a timely manner
To succeed in this role, you must be proficient in both the architectural aspects of business systems, as well as functional best practices for the teams they support; you must have experience in mentorship and leadership.
Key Requirements:
Preferably with CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant) degree
12 or more years of hands-on experience in implementing Oracle e-business (R12) suite, especially modules like General Ledger, AGIS and Tax
Managed multiple end-to-end implementations and global roll-outs
Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, solution design, configurations, testing, post production support and documentation
Working knowledge of other modules in Oracle ERP like - AP, AR, CM, iExpenses, etc.
Prior experience in finance functions like payables and receivables
Strong analytical and project management skills
Significant experience in supporting internal audit, SOX audit and GDPR requirements
