The Senior Instructor will report directly to the School Director of Technical Training Center of Gokongwei Brothers Foundation, Inc. (GBF). He/She will perform the following combination of functions:
COMPETENCY-BASED CURRICULUM MANAGEMENT
Deliver and continuously improve a competency-based curriculum that will hone and improve the students' knowledge and skills in order to meet customer needs and quality standards
Create competency-based lesson plan, learning materials and assessment tools so that learning programs delivered achieve their intended learning outcomes and standards are met.
Teach, facilitate conduct classroom and experiential hands-on activities for students
Conduct consultation sessions with teachers, OJT partners and parents on student academic performance
Set standards, monitor and evaluate student performance periodically vis-à-vis the requirements of TESDA and partner clients
Keep up to date on industry, education & learning trends
INTERNAL STAFF ENGAGEMENT
Provide training to new and existing staff and assist with recruitment and onboarding
Formulate and monitor department budgets
Scheduling staff meetings and identifying staff opportunities for growth.
PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
Formulate strategies, create and manage end-to-end programs aimed to reinforce GBF's TESDA partnership and accreditation.
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
Handles and completes administrative and academic responsibilities related to teaching
Maintain and safekeep assigned student records and documents
Generate and analyze periodic reports needed by Management
Others, as assigned by the immediate superior
Requirements
Must possess at least an Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics) Degree or BS in Industrial Technology
At least five (5) years of industrial work experience
At least five (3) years of teaching and facilitation in a school or similar environment
Experienced in designing & implementing curriculum, syllabus, lesson plans and evaluation tools
Must be an Engineering board passer
Preferably with a TESDA NCII certificate
