Role description:
As the, you will bring your comprehensive experience of direct and indirect taxes to our central finance function. Reporting to the Group Tax Manager you will prepare and review all aspects of tax accounting and reporting for the Group.
Key responsibilities:
Complete the local VAT/GST/Sales Tax accounting and reporting requirements for the Group's subsidiaries in North America, EMEA and APAC.
Prepare the corporate tax reporting requirements and review with the Group Tax Manager for submission.
Prepare and maintain government & statutory filings across the Group.
Identify issues and errors, investigate discrepancies and discuss with manager to develop resolutions.
Maintain, monitor and reconcile VAT & Tax Control GL Accounts and posting journals into the Group accounting system.
Support Group acquisitions, due diligence, ad-hoc projects and restructuring initiatives as required by their line manager.
Requirements
Professional Accounting or Tax qualified, or equivalent.
Strong commercial experience of corporate tax, VAT and corporate compliance (and ideally international and employment tax).
Strong financial reporting skills and an in-depth understanding of IFRS and tax accounting.
Flexible approach and adaptable to a changing working environment.
Ability to find innovative solutions, lead change and drive continuous improvement in processes.
Highly proficient on Microsoft Office.
