Your tasks and responsibilities
Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, general ledger treasury/cash management and taxation
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, IFRS and statutory requirements
Liaise with government agencies such as BIR, PEZA, BOC and SEC
Prepare Financial Statements, balance sheet schedules and management reports
Review of monthly bank reconciliation, accounts payable and ensure timely payment of company obligations
Periodic review of employee payroll
Support standardization of SSC reporting's and schedules
Continuous review and implementation of accounting and financial procedures, policies and processes in accordance to best practices
Support on annual budget and forecast
Your education and experiences
With Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or equivalent, PICPA/CPA
Candidates must have at least 10 years of work experience with at least 4 years with an international reputable audit firm
Good working knowledge of IFRS and PFRS
Proficient in understanding Internal Controls Systems (SOX)
Familiar with existing PEZA rules and regulations
Hands-on preparation of full sets of accounts with SAP experience is a must
Proficient in MS Excel (VlookUp, Pivot table)
An independent, self-starter, fast learner, detail oriented team player who thrives in a multi-tasking, fast paced environment and work to tight deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong problem solving skills and ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
Possess good management skills
Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization
Candidate with manufacturing background and Shared Services Centre experience will be considered favorably
Proven track record in working effectively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
