ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define, design, select/source, purchase, and deployment of first of a kind equipment platform.
PECVD (Plasma-Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition),
APCVD (Atmospheric Pressure Chemical Vapor Deposition), and
LPCVD (Low Pressure Chemical Vapor Deposition)
Manage equipment projects and interface with external vendors/material suppliers, consultants, customers, etc. to meet project objectives and timelines.
Lead equipment source inspection, installation, safety sign-offs, start-up, qualification and final acceptance tests.
Innovates focusing on tool or process step simplification and cost reduction.
Generate Equipment Acceptance Specifications.
Temporary travels to supplier and SunPower sites that may be up to 70% of the time.
Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the immediate superior.
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements:
BS Engineering Graduate (Mechanical, Material, Chemical, Electrical and other equivalent)
2-5 years of work experience MS Degree is an advantage
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project)
Preferred Requirements:
Experienced in thermal and thin film processes of solar or semiconductor industries.
Experienced and familiar with statistical problem-solving methodology such as FMEA, 8D and the likes.
Experienced in process and equipment design.
Senior Level Service Engineer with multi- functional skills
Design Team Group Lead or equivalent Engineering Level
Equipment Start-up/Commissioning Engineer
Skills/Competencies:
Good understanding of fundamental, theories and principle of Engineering, Material Science, Physics and Chemistry
Mechanical design
Factory automation & controls
Project Management
Basic CAD and simulation software
Equipment programming applications such as PLC/visual basic, macro and or the likesis an advantage
