Job Description
Responsibilities: Lead and manage the electronics Hardware team for the Haircare category which is responsible for capturing electronics requirements, circuit design, sensing system development and integration of all hardware solutions within a product Responsible for ensuring deliverables from the Hardware team are of high maturity to meet project requirements, be on time and on cost for PCBA and other hardware modules or sub-assembly Provide technical leadership and work closely with team members to solve problems related with product safety & EMC, reliability, and Quality and its integration of electronics hardware solution within the product Actively identify gaps and areas for continuous improvement in design capability, process, cost, time to market, safety, and reliability Responsible for the professional development of all individuals within their team through providing coaching, mentoring and holding regular career conversations with individuals on their career aspirations and development plans Responsible for clear communication of project status and relevant risks and priorities to relevant cross-functional stakeholders. Able to work Independently, having good communication skills ensure problems are discussed in an open and mature fashion and a consistent, collaborative approach is applied to all elements of product integration Skills: Master or bachelors degree in (Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent with Experience working in RDD environment. At least 10 years of technical work experience with proven track record of successfully leading and managing several projects starting from design, prototyping through to mass manufacturing Design knowledge and experience with broad knowledge of Electronics: Power Electronics, Motor control, Battery management, sensing and hardware integration Experience of identifying & resolving EMC / ESD and good understanding of regulatory standards such as IEC 60335, IEC 61000, UL 1017, UL 2595 desirable Good knowledge of PCBA manufacturing and product assembly & testing with its relevant standard such as IPC-A610, IPC-A620 would be desirable Working Knowledge of Schematic capture with exposure working with PCB Layout, Signal Integrity, Thermal Modelling Experience using simulation tools to support design calculations and documentation Experience in leading a team, able to define a structured mentoring/coaching from junior engineer level Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently, self-driven with a strong focus on results as well as effectively work as a team. Highly motivated person with good communication skills and able to work within a team. Fluent in spoken and written English Key Behaviors: Communication.
