A Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for overseeing the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of an organization's software and infrastructure. They work closely with development teams to ensure that code is deployed in a reliable and efficient manner. Additionally, they are responsible for managing the automation of various processes throughout the software development life cycle, including testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Key responsibilities for a Senior DevOps Engineer may include:
Designing and implementing deployment strategies for applications and infrastructure.
Collaborating with development teams to ensure that code is built, tested, and deployed in a reliable and efficient manner.
Creating and managing automated testing and deployment processes.
Developing and maintaining scripts and tools to automate system administration tasks.
Ensuring the security and scalability of the infrastructure.
Monitoring and analyzing system performance metrics to identify and resolve issues.
Providing technical guidance and mentorship to other members of the DevOps team.
Managing and maintaining continuous integration and delivery tools.
Staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps.
Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience as Senior DevOps Engineer
- Infrastructure as code platforms in GCP cloud; Git; CI/CD Pipelines with GCP
- Python coding, Powershell and Shell scripting
Walkthrough with experience:
*include number of years and projects handled
- Cloud Service used (either AWS or GCP)
- Building CI/CD Pipelines
- Python coding, Powershell and Shell scripting
- GKE, OCP, other cloud DevOps stacks
- Docker image creation, feature set and functionalities
- SRE Experience
Additional Points:
- Candidate will serve as an Individual Contributor
- Role will be a Pioneer Ro
- Prepare an Extensive Technical CV (5-10 tasks per job experience)
