This role works closely with business analysts, data scientists, data stewards and domain experts, as well as IT and infrastructure teams to understand data needs, ensure alignment with business goals, and deliver high-quality, reliable data solutions.Key Accountabilities:Data Modeling and Designa. Conducts data modeling and analysis and develops detailed data models (e.g.use of Python scripting, data warehousing, and SQL platforms with knowledge of Talend or similar ETL tools)b. Develops automated systems for managing power industry and wholesale electricity spot market data setsc. Maintains databases and computing environments and administers database utilitiesData Integration and Interoperabilitya. Gathers and organizes power industry-related and customer-specific data coming from multiple sourcesb. Ingest and transform raw electrical data from Remote Energy Monitoring (IOT devices), cleanse and normalize to convert into a standardized data layer ready for analytics.c. Monitors and manages how applications and users access and interact with databases to ensure smooth data flow and system performance.d. Provides possible scenarios on way forward specifically in dealing with the team's process improvement and streamlininge. Ensure consistent and accurate information are produced and provided to various groups within the company; Oversee and troubleshoot automation data pipelines and workflows ensuring they operate and provide reliable data and informationSpecial Projectsa. Assists in the execution of the Customer Analytics flagship project of the company by developing use cases that strengthen collaboration across teams.b.Works with product manager and vendor to enrich incoming Remote Energy Monitoring device data to ensure comprehensive use cases that unite product, data, operations, and business goals.c. Backstops projects, protocols and processes, from planning to deployment, and liaises with various IT vendors as potential service or system providers and project partners
