Description
We're seeking an experienced, innovative, smart Data Engineer to join as a Senior Data Engineer. You'll work closely with the CTO in building and optimizing 'big data' data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.

Experience building and optimizing 'big data' data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
Setting up our infrastructure and data feeds into a centralized data warehouse
Work with large complex data sets to meet cross-functional business requirements.
Acquisition, ingestion, transformation, curation, and productization of data assets
Analyze data from various sources and ensure the data is accurately moved to analytical platforms.
Must have experience with Google Cloud Platform
You will be responsible for data modeling, data governance, reporting of data sets, and ensure data security.
Ability to learn new applications quickly as there will be many adjustments and inclusions to our tech stack on this journey
Comfortable in breaking into the unknown and trying new things
The role is on flexible hours except we require daily huddles before 5 PM Sydney time and weekly scoping workshops
The ability to manage project task execution through Jira and provide accurate estimates is essential.

Machine learning capability via the Google Natural Language platform
Experience working with data exchanges platforms to ingest client data and match to proprietary data sets.
