The Network Administrator Supervisor will work with different IT Teams and will be responsible for maintaining network stability, ensuring network security and reliability, responsible for network planning, construction, design, VOIP and Telco infrastructure and reporting to Head - IT Network Infrastructure.
Participate in the design, implementation and troubleshooting of FWD global network infrastructure
Create technical design documentations (HLD, LLD, Network Diagrams and implementation/test plan)
Provide comprehensive tier-3 support, and ensuring network devices are hardened and regularly audited Interact with different teams, operation and HK counterpart teams, to solve the escalated problems as well as simple to the more complex change implementations
Implement and maintain processes, procedures and associated plans for network and VoIP infrastructure including administration, usage and disaster recovery.
Document standard operating procedures, diagrams, and training materials for use by the team
Monitoring the overall performance of systems to assess the need for updates, upgrades, enhancements, preventive maintenance and new systems, and recommending options for upgrading and improving the performance of systems.
Liaising with service providers and network carriers for contractual obligation delivery and service level agreement.
Experience:
BS degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Juniper Networks Certified Associate - Junos (JNCIA-Junos), AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, CheckPoint Certified Admin (CCSA) preferred
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a network engineering role focusing on enterprise and/or service provider network design and administration
Extensive experience of Internet, MPLS Core (MP-BGP, L2VPN, etc.), SDWAN, Dynamic Routing, QoS
Hands-on experience in experience on security appliance, such as Web Application Firewall and Next Generation Firewall.
Connectivity technologies (DSL, SHDSL, FIBRE, FRAME, ATM)
Working experience of Software Defined Network (SDN), Network Function virtualization (NFV) and Cloud applications (AWS)
Exceptional written and oral communication skills are essential, customer focus, and ability work with both technical and non-technical people.
Experience working in AWS and other cloud platform is an advantage.
Experience working in the life insurance industry is an advantage.
Knowledgeable on ITIL process
